Gamification Leaderboard

Gamification Leaderboard is an internal motivation and reward system of IT Community designed for volunteers, ambassadors, and active community members. The project uses gamification to recognize contributions, track activity, and encourage long-term engagement within IT Community initiatives.

What the project does:

* Tracks active participation in IT Community events, hackathons, programs, and projects.
* Allows volunteers and ambassadors to request points for completed tasks and contributions.
* Uses a dedicated Leaderboard Bot where:

* Any IT Community volunteer is listed.
* Points can be requested for work done in a specific project.
* Requests are sent for verification to the Project Owner / Project Manager.
* After verification:

* Points are approved or rejected based on real contribution.
* Approved points are added to the participant’s profile.
* Builds a transparent Leaderboard ranking, where participants can see their position and progress.

Goals of the project:

* Increase motivation and engagement of volunteers and ambassadors.
* Create a transparent and fair contribution tracking system.
* Encourage active participation in IT Community projects and events.
* Build a long-term reward ecosystem inside IT Community.

Rewards & future development:

* Accumulated points will be exchangeable for material and non-material rewards.
* A dedicated IT Community Online Shop is planned, where participants will be able to redeem their points.
* The exact reward catalog is under development, but the online shop is a confirmed part of the roadmap.
