The contest brought together participants from different universities and regions. People who would never have crossed paths in a lecture hall ended up meeting each other, exchanging ideas and building connections inside IT Community.

AI Arts Contest
AI is not only about coding.
A creative competition by IT Community that puts art, imagination and artificial intelligence in the same place. Participants built their own projects with AI tools, and at the final stage came together in mixed groups to choose and present the strongest ideas.
The main idea was to show that AI is not only about coding, but also about creativity and new ways of thinking.
Event goals
Three things the contest was built around
The competition was never only about the final file someone submitted. Each goal shaped a different part of the format.
Creative thinking and AI skills
Participants created projects with AI tools instead of reading about them. Five formats were open, and each participant chose the one that matched what they wanted to say.
Building mini-communities
Everyone worked on an individual project, but the final stage was collective. Participants were mixed into groups and had to arrive at a shared result together.
Formats of work
Five ways to answer the same brief
Anything made with AI tools counted, as long as the idea behind it was the author's own.
Videos
Short films, clips and animation generated or assembled with AI.
Music
Tracks, beats and sound design written with generative tools.
Presentations
Decks where the structure, the visuals and the narrative were built with AI.
Visual art and avatars
Illustration, posters, portraits and character design made with image models.
Chatbots
Working bots with a character, a purpose and a script behind them.
The final stage
Solo work, collective finish
Individual projects took each participant only as far as their own view of the task. At the final stage the groups were mixed, and one shared result had to come out of it.

No prior AI experience required
The contest was open to anyone willing to try, from a first year student to someone who already works with generative tools every day.

From any university and any region, including those whose programme has nothing to do with IT.

Designers, musicians, writers and everyone interested in creative technologies rather than in code alone.
What it left behind
A competition where the tool was artificial and the idea was entirely human.
