How it works

From an application to the volunteers group

The bot takes an applicant through the whole path: the application itself, the onboarding tasks, and the review that decides what happens next.

  1. 1 Application

    Apply through the bot

    Anyone who wants to volunteer with IT Community starts by applying in the bot.

  2. 2 Tasks

    Complete the initial tasks

    Applicants complete the onboarding tasks and send their work back through the bot.

  3. 3 Review

    An admin reviews the work

    Every submission is checked by an admin, not by an automatic filter.

The path continues

  • 01The applicant receives a confirmation in the bot.
  • 02Next comes the IT Quiz on the community rules and values.
  • 03After passing it, the volunteer joins the IT Community volunteers group.

The quiz is the last checkpoint before the group.

A second chance

  • 01If the tasks are not completed correctly, the admin can give a second chance.
  • 02The applicant reworks the tasks and submits them again.

The resubmitted work goes back to review, and the path continues from there.

A person reads every application

The bot collects and structures the work, but the decision stays with an admin. That is what makes a second chance possible instead of a silent rejection.
