Why we built it
The local market needed a platform of its own
At IT Community of Uzbekistan we grow the country's IT market by launching projects that help talented professionals develop and find meaningful work. UZITHUB came out of a gap we kept hearing about: freelancers and job seekers in the region had no trustworthy local platform to rely on.
We spoke to specialists and to the businesses hiring them, and the answer was the same on both sides. Nothing on the market was designed for how hiring actually works here, so we decided to build it ourselves.
