Simple and effective
A vote, a small group and a meeting. No registration forms, no agenda to prepare, no barrier to entry.
Weekly networking of IT Community
Meetups
A weekly meetup project that helps IT Community volunteers get to know each other through small group meetings.
For IT Community volunteers only
How it works
The whole process runs through a bot and the IT Community volunteers group. Nothing else to install, nothing else to fill in.
New users start by activating the bot. Everyone who has already done it once skips straight to the next step.
You confirm participation by voting in the IT Community volunteers group.
After voting, participants wait until the groups are formed.
Shavkat Karimov, Head of IT Community, creates the groups, usually once more than 100 votes are collected.
A group holds from 2 to 6 people. The first person in the group is responsible for organising the meetup, online or offline.
Main goal
A vote, a small group and a meeting. No registration forms, no agenda to prepare, no barrier to entry.
The point is to help volunteers meet people inside IT Community they would not run into otherwise, and to build connections that outlast a single meetup.
The project is internal and open to IT Community volunteers. Vote in the volunteers group when the next round opens, and you will be placed in a new group with people you have not met yet.
